The moment you walk through the front door you are struck by the creative ingenuity that plays a big role in the interiors of this family vacation home. Using salvaged elements from the property, acquiring items from local resources and artisans, we gave these items new meaning and purpose as we integrated them into the gut renovation and expansion of this home. Going into this project, we knew this was a house that had to be designed for longevity, to be able to stand up to wear and tear, and to provide a continuous indoor/outdoor experience on part of the ground floor. Keeping this in mind, we created a house that is both beautiful while also practical and easy to maintain for multiple generations of the family as well as their extended family and friends.
