The first of many projects with this client – who Phillip credits with making him realize his love of pink — was a three-bedroom residence that was the combination of three apartments executed in several phases. Phillip reconfigured the space (for the couple and their two young children) to include a family room, library, study, two dressing rooms and a gorgeous primary bathroom. He designed saturated blue paneling for the dining room that cleverly camouflages storage, and painted the ceiling in a shimmery shade of pink. In the entry foyer, he made his client’s dream come true by covering the walls in a deGournay wallpaper featuring fine silk thread embroidery.
