We have created an inspired space for the VIP Collectors Lounge at the 2023 edition of Salon Art + Design; transforming a historic room at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City into the “Colonel’s Cabinet of Curiosities”. On view from November 9-13, visitors will delight in the reimagined space filled with prized furniture, art and objects from around the globe and spanning decades.

We aim to transport guests into a Baroque art gallery the moment they step within its walls, illustrating the concept of your home as a work of art. Paying attention to the historic aspects and overall proportions of the space, we commissioned artful elements, such as swaths of Holly Hunt fabric, suspended 12 feet into the air with beautiful hand-painted art by Andrew Tedesco, of Andrew Tedesco Studios, Inc. rising from a Tibetano sisal carpet painted by decorative artist Phillip Bland. Grounded in furniture and accessories from Salon’s impressive roster of galleries are works from Maison Gerard, Donzella, Lobel Modern NYC, Galerie Negropontes, Achille Salvagni Atelier, Liz O’Brien, and J. Loehmann Gallery among others.

This is a layered and sophisticated setting where we marry classical and modern points of view and genres from several exhibitors in one, beautifully curated space. It forces the eye to study each and every moment in the room while creating the illusion of texture and depth. Every element celebrates the idea of the home as the showcase for a life well lived.
